Meetings...

Gee, just noticed that my entries on this blog seem to be on a weekly basis. Haha..

Anyway, this entry is more of an update of what has happened to me the past week. The week started off pretty well with a surprise phone call from CS about an hour before 12pm on Monday. He called to ask me out to do lunch with him. This is the first time I have a guy calling me out for lunch. Okay, so I am not really the type to do lunch dates since I am to strictly follow a set lunch time. Anyway he did make it on time to pick me up and we had lunch at the hawker center nearest the office. Noticed he was awfully quiet throughout lunch. Perhaps he is just like that, being a quiet person, though I remember very well during dinner the previous week that he is more noisy than that.

Unfortunately, at work, it was fire fighting most of the time. Had discussions while working on clearing the backlog and issues arising. That is work, after all.

Sent baby went for his service on Thursday afternoon at 3pm. The service at the Perodua was super quick, no wonder they call it "Super Service". :) Baby has now clocked past 1000km. He is my pride and joy, though I realize he can have his moods. :P Sometimes when I need him to speed up, I have to floor the accelerator or else he would not budge. Funny right? Those times are rare so I am not too worried about it.

To send Baby to service, I scheduled a half day leave on Thursday afternoon to give myself some off time. Seems that did not work since after sending Baby for service, I ended up having to go back to the office to fire fight some more. Only managed to leave work at 5.30pm. So great for taking leave. :(

The adventures of the week would have to be on Friday and this morning. SF asked if we could just do dinner yesterday evening instead of the planned dinner and movie date. I agreed knowing we needed time to get to know each other better, and being able to talk about things through dinner without having to sit through a movie is much better. Was suppose to meet him up at Puchong like the last time, but due to both of us leaving the office later than on time, both of us ended up stuck in jams at either end of Klang Valley. He was stuck in Sungai Besi where as I was stuck between Subang and Sunway. :S Of course I reached our designated meeting point at Puchong first, and upon checking on his whereabouts, decided that I try to find another place closer to where he was so that we do not have to waste too much time waiting for each other. Crazy enough, I agreed that we try meeting up at Putrajaya. Yes, that is indeed a long way for me, but I have always wanted to drive there but have not had the chance (or the guts) to drive all the way there. Well, we did not end up meeting in Putrajaya after all, instead we ended up at the Taman Equine area which is close to Seri Kembangan. I freaked out most of the time since I am not sure of where I was driving to, I only knew I was driving somewhere and I relied solely on the road instructions given by SF over the phone. Unbelievable! I cannot believe I drove that distance just to meet SF, and had that trust to let him guide me. What happens if he gave wrong instructions? What happens if I end up in some jungle somewhere? Ah, the possibilities. :P Anyway had a simple dinner at the hawker center while sharing more about each other. I loved every minute of my time spent there with him.

As I had earlier agreed to attend CS "office renovation celebration", this morning I took a drive from home all the way to Taman SEA to attend this simple yet meaningful event. Why I said meaningful is because it meant something to CS, and he wanted to share it with me. Understanding from him beforehand that it is an exclusive gathering, I braced myself for the worse. Only managed to confirm the dress code with CS the night before that it was formal, I was all worked up thinking of what to wear. Haha... Yeah, I was actually worried that I might be under dressed for the occasion. With CS on the phone guiding me, I made my way there (see the similarity that I tend to trust people too easily). Yes, again I was unsure of the way there, but trusting his instruction, I actually made it there after all. :) I was his only guest, and cos I didn't know anyone, I warned him that I would be stuck to him a lot. :) He made me feel at ease there and made sure I was taken care of. Attending this event was an eye opener for me towards what he does for a living, and how he is like mingling with his colleagues. I really have to highlight this bit that the event started with cocktails and titbits, and mind you, the cocktail served did contain alcohol. Mind you it was 10am! I was having a headache from the night before, and having a glass of that really jolted me and somehow drained me further. Luckily I did not pass out or anything and I did enjoy myself being in his company. :) Ooo... He even asked the photographer to take a photo of us two, and it was his chance to touch me by actually putting his arm around my waist for the photo. ;) There was the official launch, lion dances, yee sang toss, and then the makan session. Having to spend those few hours with him was a wonderful experience. After all, its not everyday that you have a gentleman in a suit stand beside you and watch over you for a few hours. :P

If you notice from my past entries, two lovely gentlemen have now appeared in my life, both of whom I care dearly about. I got to know the both of them over the net, and though the both of them have different characteristics and personality, I love being in their company.

This entry is all about meetings, who I met, what I did.

When will I get to see both of them again? Only time will tell (and their schedules of course!)...
