Much ado about the weather…

. thoughts .

Realized that there is more to it in being in a relationship that being single. Guess that the loneliness bug is giving me a hard time again. Does not help that I see friends on Facebook get engaged and married. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy for them that they found their other half, but I am looking at myself and wonder why and where is that other half of mine?

Mei is a firm believer that each one of us is a half of the other. Well, I take comfort in that, but in the mean time, I better get busy working on bettering myself. :)

. three new friends .

Had the honor of meeting a strong and kind soul in King. Unlike the other gentlemen I got to meet in person, he stands out naturally, perhaps because of his laid-back and fun nature. It is also only natural that I develop a strong attraction for him. Nothing more than close friends, we spent a good deal of time talking about everything under the sun. It is unbelievable that he is so naturally charming that I am so at ease being with him.

Cockroach is another kind gentleman I got the chance to meet in person, the only cute part about him is that he is the silent type. It was a bit tedious to talk to him not because he is not interesting, but perhaps because he is naturally shy and needs some coaxing for him to speak up. Lol!

Twinkle is a gentle and soft-spoken guy who is very sweet and charming. It is intriguing to be able to have a conversation with him, as you will not know what his response will be. Perhaps that is the best part about having a chat with him, that he has his point of view, but because he is the strong and silent type, he gets his message across and still keep you guessing what he will say next.

Three new friends with charming personalities. :)

. weathering the storm .

The weather was nothing but hazy the past week. Threatened to rain a few times, but it did not reach that point.

Then today it decided to rain…, no, POUR! The temperature at the office was already on the brink of being the next North pole and with the rain, it became colder. No amount of clothing layers could mask that cold feeling, and soon enough I was sneezing. Imagine, I had calls coming in and I had to hold a tissue to my nose to stop it from being all runny all over the keyboard and table. An awful feeling it was. And then there was this one customer who asked many questions even though she was prompted to forward her queries via email. Oh well.

The doctor was really strict about me being sick this time round with the H1N1 flu going round. His instruction is that I stay home if my fever flares tomorrow. I want to go to work! :( Oh well, its horrible being sick at work. Definitely will suffer at the office with the air con and the weather. Must have got this cold/fever from Dad, can hear him sneezing non-stop while watching TV (I am in my room typing this). Going to bed to sleep away my fever (I hope), ending this entry here.
